The AEV rear slider was one of my first mods (after tranny cooler), and I know it's taken some hits. I added the Rancho front slider shortly there after. I ran stock height & wheels/tires for three years, and did some very gnarly trails. They provide real protection, and a lot of confidence when you're driving from boulder to boulder! Be forewarned that the rear slider is NOT compatible with the RR evap skid, and from the designs, I would guess with some other evap skids on the market.
When it comes to changing fluids, neither skid gets in the way of process.

AEV rear alider.
I have an 08 with a Dana 44 that has a ARB rear diff cover. I like the added protection. It has taken a lot of abuse. The only mod I did was to lengthen it by 1" to cover my ARB cover seam. I also run the Rancho on the front. That also had to be modified to fit the ARB cover but well worth the effort.
Talking about skids I also run the Kilby rear shock lower mount skids. They also take a lot of abuse and make a great addition if you spend a lot if time in the rocks.

harve22-I have the relocate kit for the evap can, but I have not completed the mod yet. I plan on relocating, and eventually placing the muffler in the open space.

I am having a hard time understanding this one. I am running a Poison Spyder Evap skid with out issue and the AEV. Not sure how a skid under the dif would affect an evap skid. Unless it is different on a 2 door. Mine is a 4 door and they are far apart. ???
