Default AEV rear bumper shovel mount

Does anyone else have an AEV bumper with a hi lift mount? How the hell do you fit a full size shovel in there? I had to cut the shovel down to about 3.5-4 ft. so that it would fit.

I found with a full length shovel it bottoms out on the hi lift mount and isn't secure in the mount.

I know what you mean. There was a specific Lowe's shovel I believe that a few people got to sit well in there. It was pretty cheap to if I remember correctly.

Thanks for the link, looks like with the hi lift pull pal mount I need to cut the shovel down a bit.

Good luck. Lol. I called AEV today and they said it does need to be cut in order to fit with the pull pal hi-lift mount. So this weekend I'll be getting another one and citing it to a useable length.

I read today to cut 3-4 inches off. I'm going to do that tomorrow
