AEV procal question
I have a 08 unlimited 4 door automatic 373 gears and had stock p255/75r/17 tires and wheels, I put 33x12.50x15 tires with 15x8 outlaw 2 wheels on the jeep, my question is would it benefit me to buy an aev procal since I made this switch to a slightly bigger tire wider rim combination, im mainly talking about transmission shift points, speedometer reading the wrong mph, I didnt install the tpms sensors in the new wheels so that stupid light on the dash is on, but my main concern is on the transmission, speedometer,or would it benefit me on any performance gains if I installed the aev procal, thanks!

If you can spend the extra dough get the Superchips Flashpaq programmer it will do most of what the Procal can do and add some performance benefits especially more so in the Automatics.
Some reading you can do about the superchips and what other members have found.

I fully agree with the above post. I own both because i had the Procal first and I only use it because it is more convenient to adjust my TPMS threshold and to activate my daylight running lights.
The Procal does not reprogram engine or tranny parameters.

What my question really was did I loose a lot of hp by just going to a little bigger tire size, and would it benefit me that much to go spend 129.00 to 300.00 on an aev procal( or for instance the flashpaq programmers) thanks for all the input

You changed your effective drive ratio by installing a tire that is 1" taller.
The Procal will only program your PCM to acknowledge this change which will adjust your odomoter and any other function that depends on tire RPM (not engine RPM).
If you spend the $300 on the Flashpaq you can adjust your odomoter back to normal, reprogram the PCM to get a better performance profile, elimination of throttle lag and reprogram of the tranny shifts points (auto).
