looks great perfect size for jku that is not going to be used for extreme wheeling. Look even better dropping down to about 28 psi. I am kicking myself for not going 285/75-17 vs 285/70-17 that extra inch makes a big difference in looks.

...and more importantly, ground clearance.

No difference in power and I'm pulling a 1500 pound pop up trailer. I have the 3.6 engine though. I'm measuring 33.25" 33.9" advertised.

My comment about not being used for extreme wheeling was not directed at power issues but lack of ground clearance issues. I am talking about those nasty sections that require 37 on up for guys like me 285/75-17 would be perfect. I do stuff with my 285/70-17 that amazes me and I would not have thought possible prior to getting into jeeps.

Yeah, I haven't had any ground clearance issues with the type of off roading I do. Mainly backcountry roads and jeep trails.
