Default AEV Lift and "Clunk"

I had an AEV 3.5" lift installed recently and now from the passenger side rear wheel area there is a loud clunking/heavy rattle noise whenever I drive on rough roads / hit heavy bumps, etc.

My local shop who did the install can't seem to find anything wrong with it, although they said based on the noise its making, it seems like it would be an issue with the sway or track bar being loose.

But they also said both of those look fine and are tight.

Anyone experience something similar or have any ideas? Could it be defective parts from AEV? It's driving me crazy...

Did you try calling AEV and explaining the situation/concern to them? They seem to be very helpful and will stay on the phone until the issue is resolved and/or some advice is given to rectify the problem.

I have this same lift, but don't seem to have this problem. Again, I'd suggest to call them up and see what they can do.

The shop thinks they have found the issue. They're going to LMK in a bit. They did call AEV, so not sure if their advice was helpful or not.

Mine had a rattle, and some nuts had loosened up some. Make sure everything is tight. Hope you figure it out!!!

Was everything torqued while the Jeep was on the ground?

Spring retainers? My 3.5" AEV rear springs came un-perched when flexing initially after lift install.
