Althought the TMD fit looks like crap if you look at the pic closely.

 

The tmd hood is nice !!!! That is if you can get it !!!!! Good luck .
Burnville off road customer service sucks , i ordered in jan 2011 and still no hood , and many calls to them . I can build a house in less time then they can make a hood.
So if you want a tmd hood for your jeep , don,t barther you won,t get it any time soon.

 

Wow, 6 months for a hood?

 

Ordered a TMD from 4wd.com on July 18th and it has been on hold since. I got notification that it will arrive by UPS on August 10th. I've made arrangements to have it painted next week for 400$.

 

my preference is to the aev... the tmd looks too much like a muscle car to me...

i reordered again from 4wd.com too , 05/31/2011 and still no hood i get notification to from 4wd.com and still no hood.
That means nothing . Tmd,s customer service sucks .
Unless you got the hood in your hands don,t listen to what they tell you .

 

Is the hood metal or made out of Fiber Glass ?

I'm wondering about water getting into the engine compartment whem crossing water.

 

I just put an AEV on my rig and couldn't be happier, the fit and finish is top quality and I get the added benefit of the heat reduction.
