Default AEV Hood Install ???

Hey everyone, so I made my first big mod purchase for my 2013 Rubi and I'm wondering who out there has installed there own AEV Heat Reduction Hood ?

I've already had it painted and its at my house and ready to go and according to the installation guide on there web site it looks pretty simple. I'd consider myself a
Shade tree mechanic having installed a Mopar cold air intake, Rebel Off Road Hell Fire HIDs , Stubby Bumper and other easy to moderate mods myself. I just don't want to get into something like this and hit a snag so any help or advice would be greatly appreciated !

I don't have one, but helped install one for a friend (and then remove it the next day when his wife didn't approve, it being her Jeep, LOL). Anyway, there are also the windshield washer and holddown clamp hardware. And a nut for the ground wire*. But, just look and it is a pretty straightforward job. Definitely have a helper for the actual swap.

*What is that ground wire for? It drains off static build-up from airflow over the hood that would cause noise on your radio. Honest.

It's easy as pie ....

It took me and a friend less than 1 hour ...
Remove the windshield wipers ... then unbolt the cowl cover to access the hinges bolts.
the sprinkler tubing (easy) ... Remove stock hood ... set aside .... you can figure out the rest

I did mine by myself and it was a pretty easy install but I would highly recommend having a friend help to seat it properly.
