I think it looks good with a black hood , I was actually thinking of doing the same thing .

I'd do the hood like this guy Mrlobalobas that looks great!

Paint the cowl and windshield frame and possibly the grill to match the hood. Flat black that is.

IMHO hood needs to be white. Black the vents or do a contrast with the hump.

The question is: does it really reduse any heat??

Its funny you ask. You can see heat rising out of the center vent and the right vent provides cooler air to the intake. however, the temps on my Aeroforce gauge show the engine is running at the same temperatures.

I wasn't planning on leaving it I un painted. I was gonna paint it flat black and or clear coat it. I like the two tone idea tho. Loving the photos
