Aev fuel caddy but stock rim won't fit

Default Aev fuel caddy but stock rim won't fit
Switched out my summer tires and pinters out for my winter tires on my stock 17" rims and the spare won't fit on to the aev tire carrier with fuel caddy. Looking for solutions or if I am missing something Obvious.

Is it a backspacing issue? They make spacers.

It doesn't have to be AEV. Plenty if options on the market. Search for a spare tire spacer

Not sure what the problem is, I have the AEV spare tire carrier and AEV fuel caddy with my stock Rubicon tires/rims with no problems.
