Just had a look at the LoD Mid-Width Front Winch Bumper

http://www.lodoffroad.com/xcart/prod...&cat=23&page=1
$599.00

Anyone have any personal experience with that? I like the look and price. Hows the quality?

I personally love my rugged ridge and the price is right... its a very solid bumper and the ability to interchange and make it different whenever you please helps keep my boredum at bay.

I do like the customizable ability of this bumper. I think as of right now RR still has my vote. I like the LoD bumper also still need to research that one a little bit

I have the AEV and there is no doubt in my mind that it is the best built bumper out there. They are the only company using a 2 stage powder coating with an e-coat out there. You pay more for AEV, but I have always learned you get what you pay for.

Really it is hard to compare the two they are on way opposite sides of the spectrum.

That was my problem with RR. I had purchased something else from them and by the time I got it the powder coating came off in a few places. I shipped it back and went with something else.

I know that jeep stuff is going to get scratched eventually, but I want to be the one to do it.

Just my couple of pennies.

X2, I love my AEV bumper. It is definitely the best looking one out there... and worth the money in my opinion.

You get what you pay for.

If you've got the dough to spend, get the AEV.
