I have seen pictures on other websites that specifically state that AEV is wrong about not replacing the driveshaft. It will rub the exhaust loop at some point tearing the boot FWIW!

If I wanted to avoid changing drive shafts and saving a bit of coin, would the AEV 2.5 DualSport with the geometry correction brackets be a good choice? I hear it does very well on-road and off.

I was actually going to create a new thread asking what is the true difference between the AEV 2.5 and 3.5 lifts. The obvious answer is one inch, but is it really? I have read that the 2.5 was designed to provide 2.5 with the AEV bumpers, meaning with the stock bumpers you actually get 3 inches of lift. Has anyone else looked into if the difference really is a true inch? Both lifts state they were designed for 35's.

The biggest differences in the 2 kits
- 1" duh
- higher rear track bar tower
-drag link flip kit
- the brackets with the kit that raise the front sway bar links
- longer rear links (none with 2.5)
