the only way to find them cheaper is to find them used. AEV will not allow their products to be discounted. A vendor caught discounting AEV will not be allowed to seel AEV products.

Looked everywhere for better price. 225.00 was the price on every site. Well worth it though, I love mine! Bought mine thru Northridge for the free shipping, always receive my products from them quickly.

Just read that Warn is the same way when it comes to pricing...As a retailer I'd have a hard time stocking a product that I couldn't control my price on.

I doubt you will find many in the off road business that would not want to stock either warn or aev. I bet there is a sworn to secrecy profit margin that is well worth it for them to stock.

I mean it's great for them that they've built brands so strong they can dictate their price to their retailers, I just disagree with it. I know there are pros and cons, not saying there's no benefit to it. It can be a huge disappointment to see a great discount code out there, get excited that that you'll finally get a deal on something you've been waiting for and then realize the fine print excludes that brand. I know most know about the no discount on AEV, but when I first got into Jeeps I didn't know about it and it was disappointing finding myself in that situation. Now hearing that Warn is the same way has got me wondering who else doesn't allow their retailers to set their own prices?
