Default AEV 2" versus TeraFlex leveling kit

I've ordered the AEV 2" spacer lift kit + Pintler wheels. AEV says (conservatively?) that it will fit 33" tires. TeraFlex says "up to 305/70R17". Since the leveling kit is basically a 2" front/1" rear spacer lift, can I assume that the AEV kit (2" front/rear) can safely cover 305/70R17 tires (34.1")?

You shouldn't have any problems fitting that size with the AEV kit. However, you may experience some rubbing at flex, just like I'm sure you could with the leveling kit.

Hey Rick, I have the 2" AEV kit. You will not get a full 2" in the rear. The spacer is slightly smaller than the front and you remove the rear isolator during install which gives up a bit. You will end up with 2" in the front and about 1.5" in the rear.

I have a 4dr Sahara w/18" rims and have been thinking about going with a 295/70/18 which is about a 34x11.5 tire. Still running the stock tires so will be interested in your results.

Also curious on this. Was hoping the 315/17's might fit under nice ... Assuming that's wishful thinking and I'll end up with the 285's though. Anyone with the AEV lift have thoughts?
