Teraflex has some excellent install vids on youtube. Take your time and remember to loosen all CA/TB bolts (leave bracket bolts loose) until done, tires are back on and on the ground. Final step is to torque all the bolts at ride height.

If you haven't yet take a look at AEV web site they offer on line install instructions, pretty sure there's a inventory of tools in there.

X2 TF has some great videos.

I'd also add in plenty of PB Blaster, Anti-seize and maybe a paint pen to index all your hardware when completed.

I have the same lift and geo brackets for my use I like it a lot.

Good luck with the lift install.

Special tools:
Make sure you have an 18mm socket and wrench (a lot of sets skip this size), deep socket set, a ratcheting tiedown strap to align the control arm bolt holes on front axle, and a Torque wrench

I just install the AEV 2.5" DualSport XT Suspension with AEV Geometry Correction Front Control Arm Drop Brackets on a 2014 JKU over the 4th of July weekend.

Will need the following:
Impact Gun (Air, Cordless, or Electric).
Sockets and wrenches - 10mm, 14mm, 15mm, 17mm, 18mm, 19mm, 21mm, and 22mm.
Drill with 3/8" and 1/2" metal bits.
Torque Wrench - 125 ft. lbs (minimum).
Visegrip to remove the front lower brake arm brackets.
Dremel with cutting bit or something similar to cut the front passenger plastic inside wheel well to install bolt/metal washer/bushing on top of the new Bilstein shock. Driver side will NOT need to be cut.
Will need too purchase Blue Locitite to reinstall the front driveshaft.
Will need too purchase Red Locitite to install AEV Geometry Correction Front Control Arm Drop Brackets.

Awesome. I'll double check the ol' craftsman set to make sure I got the sockets, or stop and buy extra.

Dremel. Check.
Torque wrench. Good excuse to buy.
Sockets. Will confirm.
Drill bits. Yup.
Impact wrench. For ease of bolt removal???

Thanks for all the input. Can't wait to get it done!

I'm wondering if it would be worth it to install the Northridge bolt kit while you're down there, or if the AEV package will replace most of those?

Pretty sure all of the JK bolts are 10.9 which is the metric equivalent. No need to replace those.

Sears has the Craftsman Micro-Clicker Torque Wrench 1/2'' Drive which goes up to 150 ft lbs on sale. Sad to say made in China but works good.

The 1/2" drive says it goes from 20-125 ft lbs.
The 3/8" drive says it goes from 25-250 in lbs.

Willys, you mentioned 125 in lbs in you first reply, did you mean ft lbs??
AEV instructions note all torque specs are in ft lbs.

Thanks for the heads up at Sears.
Wish I had bought that $100 gift card for $85 on eBay they had the other day.....
