Am already thinking 35s for the 2012 while building up for 37s. And I wheel a lot less than you - maybe 3-4 times a mth in a good month, however usually only 2 or 3 times.

However as you have a 2dr and seem to have some concerns re gas mileage, etc. 33s on a 2dr with a little lift look good. 33s on a 4dr still look a tad small (where as 35s look damn near perfect - IMO).
Agreed. I think there's something about a hard top, too. The hard top on a 4 door makes 35's even more necessary. Topless or with the rag top, a set of wide 33's look more manageable on a 4 door.

I know I could run 33's, but like you said...I'd just drive myself crazy over 35's and then it'd end up costing me about twice as much in the long run.

IMO, don't go over 3" with a 2 door. Your on road ride will suffer. Also keep in mind you will need to replace the front drive shaft at 3" of lift.

If it will help... I'm running a 3 inch bds with 34x11.5x17 on moabs (tires are 285/75/17 toyo mt) Street manners are excellent and looks are killer. I run spacers for the looks but you don't need them. Around town mileage is 14.5 but i drive it hard (6-speed 4.10 ) highway im at upper 17's per gallon. I went with the compromise on the tires. Honeslty, for my application 35's would have been to big. hope this help
