advise on lift and tires
I've got an 09 jk unlimited Rubicon and been looking online at lifts and dont wanna send a to much money. I found a rough country 4" lift that comes with
Front and rear coil springs, trac bar bracket, pitman arm, front sway-bar links, rear trac bar bracket, brake line brackets, cam bolts, and 4 Performance 2.2 series shock absorbers for around $600. Then a set of bfg mudd terrain 35/12.5/R15 now can i fit 15s on. Any advise would be greatly appreciated thanks: thumbsup:

Think hard if you really need 35's. If you go with 35's you will need to re-gear to get driveability back. Have you wheeled with your stock rubi to see what you actually need to upgrade?
Going lifted and 35's is not a way to avoid spending money. It's like saying you're going to Vegas, but not going to gamble.

Hi there - if you are trying to save money, then here is my suggestion. Stay under a 3" lift. That way, you won't have the grief of dealing with driveshafts in the future. The lift you are looking at has cam bolts - not a good idea. Read some of the other threads here on cam bolts. Lots of people here have had good experience with Teraflex's 2.5" budget boost (spacer lift) or 2.5" coil lift (myself included).
