Default advice for tires

I do about 120km's a day of highway driving, I need a good tire for both on-road and off-road capability, I was thinking of Truxs MT the L/T version.
I'm going with 35's on 17's . Any advice is great .

Thanks.

Default Tire Pick

You could go with Nitto Terra or Mud Grapplers. I run the Terra's in a 33 and they are about the best on road. Off road they handle well too. I also like the BFG KM2s off road but they are noisy on road.

Good luck.

It looks like you're in Montreal. First, I'd reccomend either two sets of tires (one winter, one summer), or putting extra sipes onto your tires. I know what winter in Montreal means.

Second...Interco products are not known for being easy to balance. They're great off-road, but they're really an off-road tire.

Third...Toyo's cost more. There's a reason for it.

I am from montreal also, I have 32" trxus m/t's, the thing about them being hard to balance is true. It took two visits to the shop for me,but its been 4 months since the last visit and still good...

I bought the trxus for the price and I was told by the 4x4 shop that they are the best ones out there for winter, I dont wanna have two sets of tires... I guess I'll know soon if its true

one thing for sure, they are great off road !!!! mud/rocks/sand ... amazing !!!

On road, the noise is really not that bad. I bought them 10 000 kms ago, went wheeling at least 10 -15 times and they still look like new, if I had to guess, I think they will last me around 40 to 50 000 kms..

overall I am very satisfied with them and they look very good, very aggressive ...

I run Mickey Thimpson MTZ 35inch and they do great on the highway and are awesome on the trail for a MT tire.

I suggest that you look seriously on often you go offroad and how seriuos the ride is. Buy rims and tires for each use, I know that it is pricey (DMAN expensive).

I have three sets, and the 32s look a little stupid in the winter some say. I usually hold out as long as I can before putting them on.

I do not care I would rather be safe. Siping and studs help a lot to, but the softer rubber of a winter tire is the way to go.

I'm running the 35x12.50x15 ProComp Xtreme MT's. I know a guy that even plows with htem on his truck. They handle the winter well, and they are as quiet as I've heard for an MT on the highway!
