A friend of mine put Line-X on the interior of his fullsize '94 Bronco, and he had the same situation - it was awesome, but at the price of some serious heat soak. It was fantastic when it came time to clean up the interior though...

I've got a fully Line-X'd interior and the floor isn't as hot as running without carpet (steel floor).

Default Xtreme Liner

Got soaked in a freak blowing rainstorm with only the Mopar Sunbonnet (could there be a worse name for a cool product?) for protection and the interior got soaked. The jeep (2010 Unlimited Rubicon) was parked nose down a bit so the water pooled in the front, soaking the carpet front and back. Ripped it out last night in preparation for a liner. I visited with two shops: Line-X and another that does Xtreme Liner. I had Line-X in my old F-150 but I've never heard of Xtreme Liner. Cost was equal (~$600). Anyone have any feedback on Xtreme Liner? Seems about the same as Line-X when you look at it; maybe not as rough.

Thanks in advance.

I'm going to give the Duplicolor Bed Armor w/Kevlar a try. Just bought the kit at Advance Autoparts online at $20 off and picked up at my local store for $79.99 and Duplicolor has a $25 rebate. I think the $20 off sale ends today or in the next few days.

I hope to get it put on this weekend as I'll have a long 4 day weekend to take my time and do it right.

I had my old TJ Rhino-Lined when I lived in Hawaii....easily one of the best mods I ever did to her. I ran for 3 straight years with doors off and a "safari cap" (bikini top over front and back seats). I had neoprene seat covers and it wasn't uncommon at all to have 2-4 inches of water sitting in the Jeep if I didn't pull the drain plugs (kept them in some times so mud wouldn't get flung up from underneath when I was wheelin'). She never had any signs of rust. The only thing I didn't like was that since there was so much sun out there and I ALWAYS had the doors off, a decent portion of the lining faded to a dark gray color. It wasn't all that bad but it was noticeable. Anyhow, I'd certainly recommend it. Heat wasn't an issue and I didn't really notice an increase in road noise...although she never was a quiet rig to begin with.
