I did the grille mod. It was ok until I went with epoxy. It was a mess and got in the front of the grille and I didn't know it til it was too late. I would go a different route then epoxy.

I've had Plasti-Dip on my grille for 3 years now with no problems. Also, I have my wheels and they still look good.
