Advice on breaks
So I need some advice. It's time to replace my breaks and I'm not sure which way two go. I'm thinkin either of going with EBC Rotors and Yellow Stuff break pads or the TeraFlex JK Big Break Kit. Does anyone have any experience with the TeraFlex setup? Also, slotted or not? I've searches the forum and couldn't really find what I was looking for...
I'm running a 4 1/2 inch lift with 37 Cooper SST's....
Thanks,
Mike

I did research with the correct spelling... Didn't catch that my iPad auto corrected.
Thanks for not being a dick about it...
Appreciate the help.

There is an active thread named "breaks!!!" (not being sarcastic) that a guy put pads, stainless lines and slotted rotors on his jeep and claims to have cut his stopping in half.
Good luck.
Good luck.

As an iPhone user I sympathize with you. I used EBC dimpled/slotted rotors and Green stuff pads on a Buick Rainier(Trailblazer) that occasionally towed an unbraked(without breaks) trailer. They worked well, I had stockers, then bendix ceramic and finally the EBC's and I know they stopped better. I only really laid into them once, really hard, they were strong enough to activate the ABS at 60+ mph, the others might activate it in the 30-40 mph range. The pedal feel was improved. They did not cut my distances in half by any means and they were noisier than stock at slow speeds, like the driveway and parking lots. Bottom line, I would spend the $300+ to buy them again.

Thanks for the info! Hadn't heard about the noise at low speeds. Good to know, not that noise will be a decision factor...
