Adjustable lifts?

Adjustable lifts?
Does anyone use an adjustable lift? I saw one post where someone briefly mentioned the JKS lift, but haven't seen anything else. Opinions? Is there any point? I plan on upgrading tires/wheels first, but then eventually on to front and rear bumpers, so I'm wondering if I should go with beefier springs or maybe just go adjustable (it may be a while before I get the bumpers) Also, I have to wonder if maybe I'd get less hassle from my dealer for warranty work if i bring it in at 2" as opposed to 3". Would they fall for that?

I would think he means an ACOS type adjustable spacer - as an air lift would definitely be noticed as non-stock a lot faster than that.
I think Fab Tech has a similar concept..but those are the only two pre-fabbed versions for the JK I am aware of.

i think the only adjustable air version is the AiRock. the ride hieght with that one is 1" over stock while sitting on 37's, but it can be aired up to be equal to 6" of lift. The only other air kits i know of are the ballons you put in the rear coils to adjust for extra weight in the back.
now, for ACOS, JKS is the only one i know of right now. I think they are really good and was thinking of getting them, but my limited budget made me get the TFBB instead. I like the idea because you can set them for 2" of lift and as you add things, you can keep moving them up to balance the ride out. its not a bad idea if you plan on adding things over time but will only need 2-3".

You basically summed it up atomicmecha. I was indeed speaking of the ACOS lift, and for those exact reasons. So we have several intersted Jeepers but no one that has this installed? Or even know someone with experience that's said good or bad things about them?

Adjustable Lift
AiRock is on my "Lottery" wishlist.
It's the only way I'm going to fit this thing inside the garage with the bigger meats I'm eyeballing.
I especially like the fact that you can control the ride height. Let's face it, most of our miles are on the street. I don't want to sacrifice my daily driver by adding trail-ability.
Yes I want the best of ALL worlds. Can you think of any other vehicle that comes close?

Yeah the AiRock would sure be nice, but I think at this point my only option down that road is an ACOS. I'd love to be able to tweak my ride height based on current need and future expansion.

On my tacoma (wish I'd kept it for hauling stuff) I had a Downey Off Road lift that used a spanner nut to adjust the lift from 0 to 3.5 inches. Downey only makes stuff for Toyota though.. but there could similiar concept made for Jeep.
And after reading up on ACOS, this is very similiar.. duh.
