Additional considerations with TF leveling kit?
So, a TF spacer leveling kit is on its way to me. I'll be doing the install myself. The actual install seems pretty straight forward from all the research I've done on the forum. However, I have concerns about any necessary next steps after I get the spacers and links installed. Specifically, I am curious about any alignment issues that will need to be addressed. Can you good people of the forum give me a good idea of what alignment or other issues I'll need to have a shop or myself take care of after the install?

I did mine by myself last weekend and I don't think you should need an alignment unless you need one to begin with. I had to adjust my tie rod today because adding the pucks changed the toe and I was getting a little wobble in the steering wheel. Also don't forget to release the lines from their brackets so you can get enough sag in the axle to get the springs out easier.

Go up to the write-ups area, click the index at the top, and find the DIY Alignment link.
Caster - not adjustable without new components
Camber - not adjustable without new components
Axle centering - not adjustable without new components
Toe in/out - adjustable, but more than likely not needed.
Steering wheel - a wrench and 5 minutes of your time loosening two bolts and twisting the turnbuckle until it's straight.
Soooo ... a wrench and 5 minutes and your alignment is done.

I had mine put on an alignment table after putting on my tf performance coil kit because I wanted to know what the caster and camber was. both were in spec and they adjusted the toe in which was out of spec by a bit. it was well worth the $50 to know what the caster and camber was.

Loosen the control arms and track bars during the install. Finish the install and when the Jeep is on it's feet give it some good shakes and wiggles and torque all the hardware to spec. Have the toe checked if you wish. If it's out of spec it was out before the leveling kit was installed. Height change won't change the toe.
