Think again! With more droop the driveshaft can drop onto the crossover and tear off the accordian boot in its middle section. This can't happen with stock shocks and extensions because your droop is limited before the shaft contacts. From my measurements on my 2011 I would say that any shock over 27" extended and this becomes a potential issue.

Just a little update I installed the shocks, brake lines, and re-routed the ABS wires front and back and let me say everything works perfectly. Went on and flexed it out to the max and looked over everything good. Rear coils werent loose, fronts were just barely loose but won't fall out and all the brake lines and ABS wires were perfect.

Conclusion is that the 3" lift shock work perfectly with my 2.5" coil lift. Now I think if I didn't have the 1" spacer front and rear it might cause a problem with the coils unseating themselves at full drop.

The extended brake lines were way easy, but little messy bleeding them. I will snap some pics and post up

Here are some pics. The trick is to make sure the brake lines loop towards the rear of the jeep. That way they won't rub on anything. The crown brake lines are really stiff so there is no worry of them moving around much.

Also I had to mess with my ABS line so it wasn't so tight at full drop. I notice that there was some excess wire where it hooks to the hub so I used a new rubber gromet and put it around the wire then clipped it onto the bracket that holds the wire on the upper C. You can see this in the second pic were the smaller gromet is hooked to the bracket and the original gromet is no longer clipped in.
