I will one day regear but there are others items on my list first. As for the overdrive jumping in and out, I just run with overdrive off unless I am on the highway running above 60.
You will be happy with the superchips.
You burn 93 octane gas? Damn, where do you live and how much do you pay at the pump?

I have 285's but with the dreaded 3.21 gears. It's sluggish for sure but I've lived with it until I finally bite the bullet on a re-gear. When I finally do, I'll go with 4.88. According to the gearing vs tire size charts, that's what I'd be happy with.

I live in NC.....Last fill up was 79.00. But it would have been low 70's even for 87.
I traded a Ram for the Jeep so I am use to the 70.00 fill ups.

70 for 87?! It costs 4.03 a gallon for 87 here and it costs about 55 bucks.

3.21s are stock for manuals (rare automatic). The 2007 tow packages manual/auto were 4.10. All 08 and up automatics are 3.73. The tow package only applies to manuals now by adding 3.73 gears.

Grump, sorry if I missed this but did you get the terra or trail grapplers? I debating which I want of those two.

Anyone else, how do I know for SURE what gears I have? Is it written somewhere? I have a 2010 sahara 4d 6speed manual. And for my girl question.. If I have a hitch, does that mean I have a towing package?

Don't superchips void a warranty? I'd like to avoid that at all costs. To avoid this, can u simply unplug it before u go to he dealer or can they still tell use had it on there?
