3.21 are standard in 6 speed. 3.73 with tow package. I believe 3.73 are standard on all automatics and 4.10 are standard on all Rubicons. I may be wrong but I think that's right.

The towing package came with 4.10's in the 2007 models. I'm not sure when they stopped that though.

I was dealing with the same problem, but i have a 4door and it's heavy, 33", auto tran. so I went with the superchip first, just to see if i'd get any help in the performance and trans shifting (OD was always shifting in and out of gear). I must say that I was really surpised by the gains that i could feel in the jeeps performance from start to 70 mph. now remember its no sports car but, it helped me and i also got back 2mpg (14 to 16 in town, and even notice 18 mpg on the hwy).

so any ways you can't go wrong because if you don't like it Superchip does have a 30 day money back.. so try it and i bet you you keep it. plus there a new model coming out.

I am running 33's on a 08 JKU. I went for the superchips (93tune) and the difference is impressive.
I will one day regear but there are others items on my list first. As for the overdrive jumping in and out, I just run with overdrive off unless I am on the highway running above 60.
You will be happy with the superchips.

What would be the benefit of turning it off?

If you completely removed them when switching wheels.
