Default ACE Subby Bumper with Stinger

Anybody running this bumper? I am looking at replacing my stock bumper with winch plate for the ACE bumper. I know that I need spacers for my Warn Zeon winch to fit which isn't a problem.

However, it looks like the weld points where the stinger attaches to the bumper look weaker than the reinforced stuff the competitors use.

Any pictures and 2 cents on the strength would be great.

Thanks!

Run it and love it. Welds on the tube and gussets are top notch.

Thanks for the reply! It looks like you do some heavy rock crawling so I'll take your word that they are strong welds

Looking into getting this bumper myself actually, any other pics from some people around here? Any complaints? I've heard nothing but great things about it so I can't imagine so.

If you have a rubi I would relocate the sway bar disconnect motor so it's not exposed, just have to buy an extra bolt for it that cost about $10 or $15.

I crushed a dear with mine and had zero damage to the jeep or the bumper. Just some fur, scuffed paint and crap that was spayed into the wheel wells. The dear did not make it however, instantaneous death. I would get it from Northridge though as I have found that they can be a little slow in shipping when buying direct.

Good to know that it's stout, not many deer here where I am so I probably won't have to worry much about that haha. I noticed if you buy direct they charge nearly 100 dollars in shipping, northridge I believe ships for free on over 100 in order, probably will go with northridge and save myself some cash
