I have their older model and there is no rattle and it's very sturdy. My bumper is made 1/4 plate steel, I'm not sure about the steel thickness on their new style bumper but I can tell you right now that it is solid.

I love my Ace stuff

I really like the rear bumper/tire carrier

Never makes any noise and like all their stuff it really well built and has a really nice powder coat finish

I've got their front bumper and the rock rails and the new attachment for the rear bumper to hold a 5 gallon gas jug

I've never been a huge Ace fan but I really like the pro series rear bumper. Everything I needed with the integrated hitch and back up lights. The carrier is a great design. It has a nylon cradle the lower tube sits in which keeps it silent. Even a great little tab to mount a firestik. I would post up a pick but the parse error thing won't let me. Very satisfied with the product. The set up is very heavy, especially with a beadlock and 37". I was ok with that since my lift has a slight rake in the front anyway

Matt, in your profile, it says your running some engo lights in your rear bumper? I have the cutouts in mine, but can't see spending $500 on rigids.

I need to revise my sig. They are rigid sr bars. I wouldn't pay $500 for them either. Call Dave at north ridge. It will be a lot less than $500.

The Ace rear bumper without the tire carrier also pairs up nicely with the Teraflex HD hinged carrier:

I just ordered this bumper with tire carrier today. What sold me was that it opens with tailgate but is a lot cheaper than others that do. I'll post pics when I get it in.

I have the pro series bumper with tire carrier and am very happy with the set up. Extremely heavy duty, quiet, and love the one handed operation. The fact that its connected to the tailgate and the price were the most attractive features when I was shopping. No complaints and am very happy with my purchase. A bit tricky mounting it by yourself due to the weight but it can be done with some creativity.
