Default ACE JK Rock Sliders (2 door bolt on)

I got the ACE JK Rock Sliders for 2 door ( ACE JK Rock Sliders (2 Door) ). I've hardly done any mechanical work my whole life, and was able to do them fairly easily with a friend who let me use his garage since I live in a condo complex. I put the Jeep up on plastic ramps but I don't think it's necessary, just made it easier. I was worried since the body mounts bolts were out this would cause the jeep to shift a little, but ACE assured me it wouldn't since other bolts exist on it.

1. Had to take the bolts off the Jeep (pretty annoying because they take some force to get out). 18mm bolt. Had to use a breaker bar to break them and used a 2inch ratchet to remove.
2. Grinded the bolts down with a cheap grinder I got at Harbor Freight. Took about 10 min each. If you have never grinded before, make sure you have gloves and safety goggles.
3. My friend held up the steps while I bolted them back on. Used a regular ratchet to put them in then a torque wrench (got a kobalt 2 incher from Lowes) to get them to 80 ft lb.

Got quite dirty and sweaty in the heat but it was fun and I'm proud of them. They are super high quality and a great price. Highly recommended.
