Question 8" or 10" wheels

We just put on a 3.5" Rubison express suspension kit on our stock rubicon. I plan on riding out my OE tires then going to 35" tires. Is thier a big diffrence between an 8" wheel and 10" wheel other than apperance? My plan is to by another set of OE rims as trash rims (can get them pretty cheap used) and keep a set of off road only tires on those rims but the OE rims are 8".

It will be fine to run 35's on the OE rims. Many have done it and I plan on doing the same. (As long as the width is no wider than 12.5.)
