You definitely need some CAs in the rear to get that axle back a bit for some clearance. Just my opinion, buy the 40s, and some good parts, you can make it work as she stands.
ok thanks for you input! I was just thinking a long arm would drive better as in the feel of the drive smoother? I could be wrong tho when u go to a 6inch lift from a 3.5inch. I have adamsdrive drivelines. At the moment. Thank you for the response!

Don't understand my setup is on the right side 3.5inch lift. His is on the left side 6 inch lift my clearance from the top of the tire is more than his. Granted his tires are newer than mine but still he has a "six" lift and mine is 3.5 inches. Why do I have more clearance? I wonder if he has the 4knch long arm not the six.... So dam confused input from everyone appreciated

A long arm will give you a better smoother ride. IF like anything else it is set up properly. Most kits are not.

Must be. Ha ha. I can't even think how one of those clown rigs drive with messed up geometry. Mine was very noticeable and I was just outside "recommended spec". Added the teraflex sport control arms and i am very very happy with control on road, as well as off. And the added benifit of stronger arms too.

Yeah^^^ That's def not the same spot. One is flat, assuming flare, and the other is arched- def not the same plus a bad spot to measure anyhow

measured from both places I have more clearance on both areas, I'm talking about from top of tire to bottom of flare and than the other measurement was the photo you saw.

Look at photo provided this guy is running a 6inch lift looks like 40s are clearing great he has a short arm though.... Thoughts guys? This jeep looks a lot like mine haha
