You'll be sorry you only went with 4" if you are wanting 6" now. You've already got the gears, you'll have the tires, and you'll have the lift.
Make sure you have all the components and you'll ride just fine.

If you do go with a 6" don't forget about the driveshafts, they would definitely be needed at that height, and are recommended at 4" of lift too I believe.

Here is my jk with a tf 2.5 lift with rk front coils, RC 1.25 body lift, bilstein shocks for a 4" lift on 37's plus I have Je reel 1310 front drive shaft, stock control arms, stock brake lines, evo rockstars, tf front monster tb,You don't need a 6" lift for 37's or 40's plus u want to keep your center of gravity low

We started with a 3"/2" kit and went to a 4" kit which gave us 5" of lift roughly, maybe a bit more. Now the 35s look tiny and the lil woman needs 37s on her JK. At this height we just fit into most parkades if that matters depending on where you live. At 6" and 37s, no way would it fit. LCG builds are great, but some are the big boy lifts. There's a place for everything and having 5" of lift and 35s, we don't ever bottom out the chassis on any rocks etc which is nice. The raised center of gravity and corner of course is worse, but you drive accordingly and wont have any problems.
We wheel with lots of guys who have 4" kits and lots with 2.5" so they don't have to change driveshafts and get control arms. It really comes down to how much $$$ are you willing to spend. We're $500 into the lift, $550 for rear driveshaft and I'll be $300 into all 8 control arms most likely when I build them. So we'll be into a 5" kit, 8 adjustable control arms, new driveshafts for around $2000. That's on the low end if you can fab stuff and find the best deals. Otherwise you're looking at $4000 for all that stuff easy with install...maybe more. Then you got tires which are another $1500.
