5.38 Gears with 33's (Auto - Rubi D44's) - Bad Idea?
I'm running 33's right now, but see myself throwing on at least 35's, probably 37's in the next 2 years. I don't want to regear twice, and I'm thinking of building up my axle (weld-in sleeves/gussets) at the same time as regearing sometime this next year. So in the meantime running 33's, would I notice any major downsides?
I can't seem to find any negatives to this setup, but I know there are pros and cons to everything, so I'd like to hear any and all perspectives.
For reference (for auto, 33's w/ 5.38's, it says "fair" DD - what does that imply? ):

If you don't go faster than 70 you should be ok but if you like to go fast you will rev those rpms like crazy. But on a positive note you will have one quick rig off the line. It will be ok just driving around town.

Either 4.88's or 5.13's.both will keep in a rpm range with option to move up to larger tire.We are running 4.88's moving to 37's next month. Most time spent driving on highway

Your fuel economy will take a hit, as well as turning high rpms at higher speeds. If it is temporary you it will be liveable, but that would be a horrible and senseless setup to stay with

I'm also debating on 5.13 or 5.38 with 35s at a high elevation. So how many people have actually had 5.38s grenade on them and what were the conditions.
I have 4.10 and the 3.8 auto.
