I have a auto tranny, 4" suspension lift on 35" running 5.13's. WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!!!!!
Made a huge difference to me, I can use my overdrive again. I get about 16.7 mpg.

I just got my Yukon 5.38s and overhaul kit from Northridge 4x4 today to put on my manual 09 rubicon. Installing this week and can't wait!

I got Yukon 5.13s on my 4door Sahara automatic. I would bet that a lot of the people on this site have Yukons.

Open up the Drivetrain FAQ's. You'll find a good RPM chart to plug some numbers into. For non-rubi's with 35's, 5.13's is the way to go...

what's the difference in performance/mileage between 5.13 and 5.38 for a lifted jk running 35's.....is it just a preventative measure for wanting to go bigger on tires?

I am running 35's with 5.13 Yukon's and I have an auto tranny. Now, I live in Florida which is pretty flat and at 70 MPH, my overdrive doesn't kick in and out.

Frankly I went with Yukons because someone told me they were quiet, and they are, but I have no basis from which to make that claim myself.

I like this choice in tires and gears, but I have no desire to install 37's either.

I have the yukon 5.13s as well and love them. Made the jeep drive better than stock...on 35s. My acceleration improved, less downshifting, and better mpgs. They will make your drive train last longer too.

Well worth the $$$$$ IMO
