4inch lift with Duratrac 315s
Anyone run this? I am also considering bushwackers but not sure if it is too much lift. If you do, how tall does your jeep sit. I am considering doing that exact setup but dont know if it would fit in my garage.
Thanks

Welcome to JKF!
Plenty of folks running 35s with 2.5" lifts. 4" will incur additional mods, and with limited benefits. Suggest you find Dirtman's excellent FAQ "My Thoughts on Lifts" in the stickies on this sub-forum.
BTW: I run 315 Duratracs with 2.5" lift and stock fenders. Check out my videos at DigitalByDoiron on YouTube to see how that works for me (along with a lot of friends running 35s/2.5".

Yep, that's a lot of lift, especially if you are going to run flats. If you go down to JK Show & Tell, you will find some huge picture threads with just about any combination of lift and tire size you could want.
Or use this string in google or whatever search engine, followed by what you want to find:
site:www.jk-forum.com
site:www.jk-forum.com 4" 35's
For the total height, it will vary by build. The specific lift mfg, coil/spacer, rim size, top choice, added weight, whatever else. Too many variables, so just measure yours and do some simple math. Assume the 4" coils actually give 4", and you are moving from 32's that measure 31" to 35's that measure 34". 3" height increase gives 1.5" lift to the frame/body. 4" + 1.5" = 5.5" taller.

this photo shows a comparison to a stock height JK.......mine is 4.5" taller than the stock one.
if you do go with a 4" lift, you may want to consider 37" tires as the gap between fender an tire will be substantial.

I am running AEV 2.5" DualSport XT Suspension with AEV Geometry Correction Front Control Arm Drop Brackets and Spidertrax Black 1.5” Spacers with Factory Willys Wheeler 17” Wheels and Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac 315/70/R17 Tires. I gained 3.5" from my factory Willys/Rubicon Suspension. That is with ARB Deluxe Front Bull Bumper and Smittybilt X2O-10K Waterproof Synthetic Rope Winch which weigh over 180lbs. The rear I have ARB Rear Bumper with Tire Carrier and tire/wheel and weigh over 195lbs. AEV lifts have a rake about 1/2" and stock factory rake was 3/4". My suspension has not sag and almost level.

I didn't have that setup but I did have a RK 3.5 with 37s and it squeezed in the garage. I did also have a Bestop NX so that gave me a little more clearance.

Some of us took "not sure if it will be too much lift" to mean he was wavering on whether he needed that for 35s at all since he didn't write "not sure if it will be too much lift to fit in my garage". But, I can see how it could be taken either way.

didn't mean to hijack......my setup clears my garage door by 11" but only clears the bracket for the garage door opener by 5"
