4dr drive shaft on 2 dr
Is it possible to use a drive shaft from a 4 door on a 2 door? That way I can have a cheap longer drive shaft? I know I'd have to get it shortened, but wouldn't it be cheaper to do it this route than to buy a $500? How reliable would it be?

Someone more knowledgable than me will probably respond, but I would not do it, the length difference is considerable and not sure how reliable it would be shortened.

my advice. do it right the first time
get the new DS. by the time you go through all the trouble of shortning it measuring etc. you may wind up with a really bad vibe coming from the DS. all that work for nothing
