Question 488 Gears 2013 Rubicon

Hello all,

I just did a gear change from 4.10s to 4.88s, now my transmission is freaking out LOL. So I have an AEV Procall will this fix my problems or do I need to look at something else? I was going to try the PorCall tonight after I get off Base and see but if anyone knows what to do, I would greatful

Yes, you have to use the procal to change the gear ratio in the computer.

Pro Cal: best investment I've made to date, perfect and a MUST have for any tire/gear changes and not all that expensive

I spent a little extra and got the Superchip Flashpaq 3872. The 87 Octane Fuel Mileage program made a huge difference after I put the bigger tires on. I anticipate the mileage being better than stock once I get the gear change done... on 37s with factory 4.10s and have 5.13s ready to install.

Any gear change will throw the computer into "limp" mode if you don't use a programmer to change the gearing.
