Default 4" rough country lift on 2012 or 13 exhaust mod? Also only 07-11 driveshaft extention

Hey guys some questions before I tackle this lift install for anyone who has done this before !

The rough country website says 2012 jks require an exhaust mod for the 4" lift ?

Also mentions you don't need a driveshaft extension ? http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep_jk_4.html
Has anybody installed this lift on a 2012 ? I was gonna purchase it new in box from a local guy

just some FYI, i put the rough country 4" lift on my buddies 2dr. rough country sent the kit for a 4dr, but he didnt want to put his jeep back together when we found out. so i installed it and it turned out to be a 5" lift. we didnt use the exhaust extensions and his drive shaft boot has roughly 1.5" of clearance, however if he were to disconnect then he would tear his boot. so for now he just stays connected
