Default 4" Lift with 38s

I've had my 2door with a 4" lift and 35s for awhile and need some bigger meats. I'm gonna put on some high clearance tube fenders and move up to some 38x14.5r17s but can't find any rims bigger than 17x9 for the JK 5x5 bolt pattern. I'm pretty sure that would be too skinny for such a wide tire. Short of changing to some D60s with a 5.5x5 bolt pattern, what are my options? Wheel spacer/adapters, custom wheels?
Thanks for the help, Jayson

For that wide you might want to look at bead lock wheels.

Pro comp series 97 or 98. I have them in 16 x 8 and I almost got the 16 x 10. I would think they have 17 x 10 as well.

Those are some big meats on RUBI Axles, hope you got the lifetime warranty or have built the axles or your going to be breaking parts. I tried 38" boggers and BROKE ALOT on even with fully built axles. In my opinion if you are going to wheel anything bigger than 37's hard you need D60's.

Of course I don't have them yet myself... but they are on the list!

Just my humble opinion, they will look killer though!

I figure run them 'til I break them, then upgrade. I mostly wheel in sand and open desert, and very seldom rocks. 38s are only an inch bigger than 37s, so it shouldn't be that big of a difference. I also found some 37 and 38x13.5r18s so an 18x9 would work, I guess.

The biggest Pro Comp wheels I can find in 5x5 are 16x8 which I have, or 17x9.
