4 inch lifts and driveline mods?

has anyone thrown on a 4" with out a DP arm? i'm curious as to why they need them...the TJ's didn't for anything less than six. i know, it's not a TJ, but still.
stumpman79, you can take a look at your steering linkage, if your draglink is parallel to you track bar, you won't have any issues with bumpsteer. did your kit come with a track bar bracket, or adj. track bar? a bracket will usually require a dropped pitman arm to compensate, where as an adj. track bar won't.
