4.88s and 5.13s mpg
Anyone who has this setup, 6-speed with 35s and 4.88s or 5.13s can you post your gas mileage. I'm really torn between which I should get. Currently have 4.10s and my mpg is 14 city and hwy. I'm dieing for some more power but don't want the mileage to get worse. With an auto seems like a no brainer with the 5.13s. What about my manual? thanks

Actually it does matter. To me 14 just sounds better than 13 mpg. I guess it's just peace of mind. And the difference is about a 10% decrease in my mileage so if it were to drop to 13. Call me nit picky but I guess it matters to me. Anybody got there mileage?

Man I am not even close to that mpg.....
4dr 5.13 6spd 35's and I get 12.6-13.0 every tank no exceptions. City driving/Highway driving/mix of both. Maybe I just drive the piss outta mine. Usually set the cruise at 72-74. Rarely if ever do i ever hit above 4k rpm and never exceed 78-80. I would love to be @ 16. Are you manually calculating or is the computer figuring it for you?
Don't get me wrong I would not go back to 3.21's for anything, but the mileage was nice.

14 is all you are gettting, i am getting 19-20 on the highway with 35s and 4.10s and 6spd and that is compared to a gps, and how much it takes to top off the tank, and i cruise around 70-75, anything over that milage drops significantly.
i swaped and 37s on my jk it now gets 14-15 ?? with 4.10, im swaping gears, to 4.88, i dont need more than that, but that is for me others may want lower, if i want lower just shift into low rang.

Unlimited, manny, 35's, 4:88's and 15 mpg city and 15-16 highway depending on my speed, usally cruise at 75-80. A couple of times it was 14.5 hwy but I did 80-85 mph all the way to Baltimore. I love the 4:88's, dont use 1st gear at all, in 6th at 85 am doing 3400 rpm

Are you guys factoring in that if you havent told your computer your new tire size you actually cant go by the odometer. With my 36's a 30 mile trip to work everyday with the stockers now shows that I only went 25.5 miles. So your mpg numbers are never goin to be right unless you actually calculate how far your tire rolls per revolution. Oh and by my numbers and 36's and I speed everywhere I still get 15mpg. On 3.21's and 6 speed.

Man it sounds to me like the mileage varies quite a bit. My first thought is I guess everyone drives different. But... Could it be from tweeks to the engine etc. that DC made over the course of the year? Just a thought.
