I have 5.13s with 35s and a JKUR auto and drive line vibrations don't come on until 80 MPR, but I think once I install an Adam's shaft in the front that will go away.
Having 5.13s with 35s is great if you want to go to 37s but doing 80 is like spinning your drive shaft at 100.
Sometimes I think I should have gone 5.38 and sometimes I thing I should have done 4.88...so 5.13 is probably perfect. PS: get a superchips or some other tuner if you change your gears.

I haven't had them installed yet. Just had surgery so I can't even get into my jeep. Lol but found someone to do the whole thing for 600. But doing my research for over a year and talking to people and my jk set up. 5:13 gears are the way to go. But 4:88 will be fine and work just fine. It truely is based I feel on each driver, their JK set up, their JK trans and driving conditions as well as what wheeling they plan on doing and future set up plans. A new top of the line front bumper with a 9500 winch will put 200lbs up front another 60-80 in the rear. Once I get it set up I'm going to do a drag race numbers comparison from 3:73 to 5:13, if I can find a place that will do it. My JK is an auto.

I would regear. U will eventually work your trans to hard, check your dip stick and see the color of ur fluid. Question though do you have a auto or manual?

When I'm above 65mph it revs to high, stays right above 3k at 70mph. At 75-80 even more rpms to keep up to speed. I do have the Superchips installed as well. I feel it will be much better with 37s. Seems one misconception about a gear change is like adding unfound hp... And it's not... The 3.8 is pitiful and no gear changes that. Just my opinion and experience. Many have different
Sounds likely your superchip may need tweaking big time. I heard a few people set the specs wrong and where having rev problems.

Just don't expect a night and day difference after the gear change.... I noticed improvement when offroading more so then during my daily drive. Mostly expressway to work..... My set up is very similar .... For lift and added weight.... Teraflex 3" lift(more like 4"), front bumper with stinger and winch, ACE rails, 35" tires and aftermarket wheels, superchip, etc etc etc I still remember after the shop installed the Yukon 5.13 gears and took it for a test drive his comment "still a dog"
Lol oh well.... I purchased 37" MTR's going on in spring we'll see what it feels like then.

With 5.38 gears and 37s with an automatic '11 Rubi, you would get over 20 mpg at 60-65 mph. Plus, the performance off road is much better.

It's possible on flat roads. I average 19mpg at 50mph and the taller gears would move that higher up. It will not average that stoplight to stoplight.
