Is 4.88 still the answer for a 6speed/35's and TOWING a boat/utility trailer?
I'm planning on making the trip to TX to have Lunatic Customs do my gear swap. All the research shows that 4.88's are probably the answer with the 6 speed and 35's (315/75/16). However is that still the case if my Jeep is used to tow or should I go to 5.13's? I don't to over the 3500 pound rating but I bet I'm not too far away with my ski boat or loaded down utility trailer. Curious to here from others that have done this swap and use their JK for towing. I don't plan on going to a larger tire.
thanks!

How often do you tow? How far? How fast? Any plans of moving to taller tires?
My opinion, you should gear for the tires and for the 98% of the time you are not towing. Don't gear specifically for the 2% of your time that you are...
