I have 4:88's with 33.8" A/T Tires. If I were to do it again, I'd go with 5:13's. Keep in mind the Weight/Rolling Mass of the Tire & Wheel como. Many 35's are extremely heavy, therfore requiring more Power/Gear to maintain speed without all the downshifting.

Thanks for the replies. The actual size of my tires is 34.4 they are duratracs. I was planning on 5.13 but was wondering if it would help my gas mileage if I went 4.88. Although I am more concerned about performance over gas mileage.

Performance over mileage leads to 5.13's.
I run 5.13's with 38" tires.
My friend just went with 5.13's and 35's with an auto. It feels peppy and he's quite happy.
BTW, I get 14.8 MPG on the highway with my set up. This is way better than what my TJ got in 37's...

I have a rubicon. 2 door. 35's Manual trans with stock 4.10. On the highway my 6th gear is almost useless unless your going down hill. Would u recommend 4.88 or 5.13. I do some highway traveling and will pull a trailer time to time.
Any opinions? Thanks.
