It's funny that aev wheels have a 5.2" backspacing and they say that you can run 37's without issues.

They can run 37s with no issues, I'm doing it. But you cant run a 14" wide tire and expect it not to rub. My km2 37" did not rub, my 37" nitto trail graps rub on full turn to passenger. Go figure

Secondly, yes they will rub like a mofo. I currently have 37x12.5 tires, 3.5" lift and 4.75" BS wheels and they rubbed bad on the lower control arms and sway bar. Fixed all this with Spydertrax 1.5" wheel spacers. I'm now at 3.25" BS
Zero lift!... Until the lift comes in.

As for the fenders, well they arent an issue any longer. I went out and pulled them completely off last night. Took a angle grinder to the pinch seam and to the front bumper. While I was at it, I took off the welded fender support.

Was a queasy feeling doing this to a vehicle that I just finished making my first payment on.

Dropped it off at Discount Tire this morning for mounting.

Hope to have pics soon.

There was just a thread on this. Guy had no rear bumper, trimmed front bumper, either no fenders or smittybilt armor, and 37"s.

I had my Pintlers on 37" KM2's and they rubbed at full turn so not sure how yours isnt. I sold the AEV's and with the Spyderlocks alone they didnt rub do to the 3.5" BS. My new wheels are Pro Comps and they rubbed so threw on some spacers.
