4.10 or 4.56 ratio on 33 Inch Tires

I agree with most here that 33's and 4.10's are a very good combination with the 6-speed both on and off road. I can maintain Highway speed easily in the 6th and 1st gear is low enough to give a decent crawl speed when off-roading.
Not sure why you are claiming the OP has an auto. He said he has 3.21 gears, those are only available with the manual tranny.

Which means he is about 500rpm lower than you manual guys, given the same tires and gears.
Which means?

I have 33's (285/70/16) and 4.10's in an auto unlimited. Only gripes I have are the constant gear hunting around 30-40mph and kicking in and out of over drive. I am running the super chips and the mileage xs tune, which is most likely why the shift pattern is the way it is... Will probably run the performance tune or tow tune next fill up since 80% of my driving is commuting through town/traffic lights to work.

Either the OP's profile is wrong or he does not know what gear ratio he has. If he does have an auto I agree with you that he will want more than 4.10s.
I think you are probably mistaken but if it is true then your parents got screwed, the automatic transmission package they payed for includes the lower gearset. If it were me I'd be taking the Jeep back to the dealership and be demanding to have it regeared. The window sticker on all non-Rubicon Jeep Wranglers lists the 3.21's as standard equipment but in the optional equipment section the auto transmission package lists the 3.73 gear ratio (4.10s for 2007s)

Holy Crap, he is one of the 11 people in the world the got an auto with 3.21's? I can't even begin to think about how gutless that thing is. I has 3.21's with a manual and it was bad enough.

I have an auto unlimited with 4.10s (it's an '07 ) running 285/75/16 and I would definitely upgrade to higher if I were you. It's not that's it horrible or anything, but if you're spending the money, go bigger. I would probably consider the next jump from 4.88s, but that's just me (I want 35s next and 37s in the future). I'm thinking 5.38s with lockers when the time comes (I should say *if* it comes).

For you Manual guys:
Assuming 4.10 gears and 32" actual height tires
Manual = 2533 rpm @ 70 mph
Auto = 2080 rpm @ 70 mph
Assuming 4.88 gears and 32" actual height tires
Manual = 3014 rpm @ 70 mph
Auto = 2476 rpm @ 70 mph
Your gearing advice really doesn't apply to guys with auto's...
