I have the Cooper Discoverer STT in the 37/12.50/17 size. I have about 15k on mine and love them. They are wearing great, ride and handle well, and are a beast off-road.

MTR/k's have a notorious weak sidewall. Not a great off road tire. They do wonderfully on the road and with mild wheeling, you'll enjoy them. Moderate wheeling will start to show the weakness and the hard stuff... plain and simple, this tire doesn't work.
BTW... not tested in snow or ice.

Folks have a huge range in their minds when you talk about light/moderate/hard wheeling
I've seen pictures of your rig and that's the equivalent of a Baja trophy truck compared to even a moderately built Jeep like mine
In this realm dynatrac's d44 pro rocks and d60's are pretty hard core
I don't see people lining up to talk about pro rock 80's

Check the spec sheets carefully. I was parked next to a friend. Both of us have 37x12.5x17s. He has ProComps & I have Nitto Trail Grapplers. Mine are about 1" taller & 1" wider. Not all 37s are made equal

@res6cuejk. My 35 km2's next to the 37's nitto grapplers closely resemble height. ONLY because the grapplers were worn and my 35's were not. Remember, there is only an inch in difference fm center of wheel to outside.

First off, my new AEV 4.5 lift just arrived along with my Teraflex HD tire carrier and AFE Y pipe and loop delete kit for my sliver 2012 JKU. I'm ordering a set of AEV argent pintlers next week. Question is which 37x12.5x17 tire would be best for MY needs. Most of my offroading is done on the beach or power lines and rock crawling is hard to come by here in MASS. I'm looking at Goodyear mtr/k's, Nitto trails, Hankook dynapro mt's and Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ P3's. Which tire will perform the best ON road during rain/snow/ice conditions. I know all of these will work great for my limited Offroad needs, it's the on road during winter and rain I'm concerned about(especially when my daughter is in the back!). I know an all terrain would work the best for me but I think most 37" all terrain tires on lifted 4 doors just don't look right.
