Default 37's need trimming!

What is the easiest way to trim the rear rock sliders? They are rubbing so bad... need to fix it before I can drive the car and have no clue how to cut it.

Help!

It's OK because he's from the moon, he doesn't know any better. At least he's willing to take a sawzall to part of his JEEP...

Depending on HW BAD its rubbing...you DO want to make sure the new edges you make are not sharp...and, not open, as they will fill with mud, mice, neighbors' kitties chasing the mice, etc...

Welding a ne cap over the cut off part might be a good idea...and cutting off MORE, to make ROOM for the extra length of that cap, would be required as well.

My friend cut mine with a cutting wheel. He made a mark on them while they were still on he Jeep, pulled them off and made a straight cut and popped the plastic end cap back in. While they were off the Jeep he trimmed the pinch weld cause that was flush with the end of the rails and rubbing also. It took him maybe 15 min to do the whole job including reinstall.

If you're not comfortable using a sawzall, chop saw, and grinder I highly recommend finding someone who knows how to make these tools behave and acheive professional results otherwise
