37's with 3" lift - possible?

Is it weird that professional rockcrawlers try and keep their COG low? You dont need 8 inches of lift for 37's. All your doing is making your Jeep less stable for rockcrawling. Id rather ride in one running a 3 inch lift and 37's than yours if I were wheeling, it would be a lot less likely to turn over. Back when I was 16 and didnt know anything I thought having a tall jeep was the cool thing too......

If I only could play on one type of terrain it would be rocks. Lower CG and bigger tires is the perfect combo.
I currently have the 3" FT Ultimate, a 1" body lift, and 37" BFG's. I am considering once I get CTM u-joints and alloy shafts going to larger tires with out altering my current 4" of total lift.

you should be able to squeeze them under there with all the above advice. lot's of wheel backspacing, trimming in the rear, tube fenders, a shorty front bumper, and properly adjusted bumpstops to keep anything from rubbing. speaking of which, get limiting straps as well.

My whole outlook has always been to not even look a the inches a lift is. Just setup a suspension that works for you and if need be pull out the welder and sawzall and start cutting and moving things around.
