37's on 3" lift

I wouldnt do 37's for a daily driver. For 37's if your plan is to not wheel it the only thing you will really need is gears and maybe front control arms to correct the steering geometry, flats, and bump stops. You will get a lot more answers if you fill out your vehicle profile.

So what jk are you getting? New or 2011 and under? What model rubi has 44 axles front and rear. These are just the basics. If you plan on keeping that jeep for a far amount of time I would not go 37s with a DD.

$5k for mods to run 37's is really pushing it and depending on what model you get will likely double that before you are all said and done. Not saying it can't be done but if you are buying and bolting it will add up rather quickly. 37's and wheels will be near $3k all by themselves.
I would try for a 2012 for the better transmission but think you will be hard pressed finding even a bone stock one for $25k. I would recommend rear cromoly shafts if running 37's as the factory shafts snap at the splines and are difficult to repair often requireing pulling the differential to get the debris out of the carrier. While the factory should be fine on road it does not take much of a bounce from an inexperienced off roader to snap one. As for 37's its expensive rubber to be driving around on but does look good. MT tires will also wear faster then an AT tire. A 2007-2011 auto will be much better with 5.13 gearing and 35's as the factory automatic just has terriable gear ratios in it.
In the end it is your jeep and your money so do what you feel you need to do.

Well I am now aiming for running 35's and I think just starting out I can get a good lift, tires, and wheels and also gears for around 5k. I will be installing gears and lift myself with a friend who is a good mechanic.
