running the same tires on our 2012 rubicon with 4.10 gears now and get about the same. the new 3.6 pentastar is really nice - much better than the old 3.8 which wouldn't deliever anywhere near the mpg performance given an apples to apples comparison.

This the main reason my 2012 is still stock and my garage is filled with all the gear off of my 2010.

trust me, there's no comparison. the 2012 with 37's and stock 4.10 gears spank a 2007-11 with it's wimpy 3.8 running 37's and 5.13 gears. power, performance and mpg are all better across the board on the 2012's.
